What do Strasbourg and Granada have in common?
At first glance, perhaps not much. One is in the heart of Alsace, near the Rhine and the German border. The other is in Andalucía, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada.
But they share something important: a love of sitting around a table and sharing.
From Alsace to Andalucía
Winstub Granada is born from precisely that meeting.
A Winstub is a simple, welcoming place in Alsace where people come together to eat, have a drink and enjoy good company. No complications. A table, good food and people together.
We love that idea. And we want to bring it to Granada.
A cuisine with identity
At the centre of our concept is Flammekueche, a traditional Alsatian speciality.
Thin, crisp and rectangular, it is traditionally made with a crème fraîche base, onions and bacon before going into a very hot oven.
From that base come different combinations, from the most traditional to others inspired by the flavours we find in Andalucía.
There will also be Brezel, escargots, wines, Crémant and other specialities that form part of our vision of Alsace.
Why Granada?
Because Granada has something that fits perfectly with the spirit of a Winstub.
Here too, life is lived around the table: terraces, squares, long conversations and the habit of enjoying food and company.
We do not want to create an Alsatian restaurant that simply copies Alsace.
We want to create something with Alsatian roots and a Granadan soul.
Born in Strasbourg. Inspired by Alsace. Adopted by Granada.
Winstub Granada is still taking shape.
We are building the project step by step: finding the right location, defining the menu, preparing the experience and sharing the journey with people who want to discover it from the beginning.
Because before opening our doors, we want to tell the story.
